Nashville, TN 2009

We went on a little trip to Nashville, TN last week. We wanted to take Hannah to the Opryland Hotel to see all the pretty decorations and to the ICE Exhibit. We had so much fun and Hannah absolutely loved it!! We also took her to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, she thought that was super cool!!

Always as a tradition at our house, as soon as we put our tree up Hannah gets her Christmas PJ's on. We always take pics in front of the tree to put on our Christmas Cards! She is such a little ham!! I Love It!!

Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

As Thanksgiving is quickly approaching it reminds me of all "my" thanksgivings over the last year! Our family has been truly blessed this year! Hannah turned 3 in February and started Preschool in August. As this was quite an adjustment for me as our "baby girl" overnight turned into a "big girl"! She is our little miracle and we are thankful every day that she is in our lives! She makes us happy, she makes us smile, she makes our hearts full of joy!! I am blessed with a loving , caring husband who is the love of my life and my sole mate! I am thankful that Hannah has such a wonderful daddy that loves her with all his heart! In her eyes he is her hero, her comfort, her buddy! I am thankful that right now in her life she thinks of me, and calls me her "bestie"!! Hopefully it stays that way!! :) I am thankful for our family, all our joy, all our happiness, all our blessings! Our Family And Our Friends Mean The World To Us And For That I Am Also Thankful!!

Hannah decided she wanted to make up her own little costume! Lol! This is what we got!! It's hard to tell be she has on her Tinkerbell wings! She cracks us up!!

Hospital Visit

We have had a super crazy week around here! We started off Sunday morning picking Hannah up from Grammy & Grandaddy's house after she had been up most of the night not feeling well. She started off with a cough and low grade fever, so I was not that concerned...Allergies Again!?! After we had been home a while she was feeling much worse and was starting to wheeze quite a bit. We decided to go ahead and take her to the urgent care center to get her checked out. They gave her a breathing treatment then sent us to the hospital to get chest x-rays, then back to the urgent care to get the x-rays read. They said she had bronchitis and gave us antibiotic and liquid albuterol. We got home and gave Hannah her medicine. She barely got it down before she got sick everywhere, so I was thinking maybe she had too much drainage and her stomach was upset. We waited about an hour and tried the albuterol again...same result! Yuck, Yikes, This really sucks! I called her pediatrician and they told us to take her to Kosair's. Got to the hospital 8:30pm on Sunday ~ They called us back around 10:30pm (who knows what we were exposed to in the waiting room...it was packed!!) ~ Decided to admit her around 2am and we finally got up to a room around 4am! What a long, long night!! She had to be on a constant breathing treatment from 2am until 8am then switched her over to every 2 hrs, then monday afternoon every 4 hrs. She had to be on oxygen most of the time. They told us we were going home Tue morning then Hannah had a nap and her oxygen dropped to 82% so they said we had to stay another 24hrs until she could go at least 12 hrs with oxygen above 90% while sleeping. We finally got to come home Wednesday around 12:30pm! Yay! Finally!
They decided she had "respiratory episode" (A Typical Pneumonia and slight Asthma). This is the first "episode" she has had so the Asthma thing is freaking me out! We are going to follow-up with her pediatrician on Saturday and hopefully get some more answers. They told us at the hospital that their Asthma cases have went up 30% over the last 2 months and they have seen several of those children back within 2 weeks! I pray that is not us! I have been scared, nervous, angry, totally stressed...just about every emotion the last several days! Please keep all of us in your prayers, especially Hannah. Its so hard to see your baby like that and you can't do anything to help them except pray. I am thankful for all my family and friends, everyone has been so supportive! We are blessed to have so many people who love us! I will keep you posted!

Hannah's First Field Trip

Hannah had her first field trip on Wednesday. Their preschool class went to Deere Farms in Lanesville. She had a blast with all her little friends! The kiddos got to take a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch, jump in the pumpkin bounce house, climb on hay bails, slide down the hill, and go through the corn maze! Let me just tell you we were there about 3 hrs and I was beat by the time we got home! Hannah loved every minute, especially hanging out with her BFF Mackenzie!

Baby News!!

Wow! What a day!

My cousin Erin Shaffer-Young and her husband David are the proud parents of a sweet baby boy! Tyler Jacob Young was born today at 12:29pm. He weighed 7lbs. 3oz. and 20in. long. Everyone is doing great!

Meleah Phillips-Coogle and her husband James are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl! Cora Emery Coogle was born today at 5:10pm. She weighed 6lbs. 5oz. and 19in. long. They are doing great! Big Sis Emily is totally excited!!

Pancake Supper

Hannah had her Pancake Supper on Saturday at her preschool. She was so excited about having pancakes for supper!!! We had a great time and she did an awesome job singing. We were so proud of her...sniff...sniff! She is such a big girl now!

We had Hannah's pictures taken a couple weeks ago for 3 1/2 yrs. We met Leslie at Community Park in New Albany. She did an awesome job!!! Like Always!! :)
